Age limit U22
Procedure to establish age limit for European Championships
To establish the date of birth corresponding to the age limit for the U22 European Championships, the following procedure is used: the age limit must be subtracted from the following year in which a competition takes place with the understanding that this year begins on January 1st. As an example, the age limit for U22 European Championship in 2010 shall be: 2011 ‑ 22 = 1989. Any player born on January 1st, 1989 or after this date will be entitled to participate in the U22 European Championship in 2010.
